Case sharing: Successful application of high-efficiency reactor in the chemical industry

2021-09-28

Project Background

   Company: Houston Chemical Ltd.

    Location: Houston, Texas, USA
Industry: Chemical industry, mainly engaged in the production and research and development of polymer materials

    Date: April 2021

Demand

Houston Chemical Co., Ltd. is a company with extensive experience in the chemical industry, mainly engaged in the production and research and development of polymer materials. In early 2023, Michael Smith and Sarah Johnson found that the company's existing reactor equipment could not meet the needs of new product research and development. The existing equipment had major problems in operating efficiency, temperature control, and reaction time, resulting in low production efficiency and affecting the progress of new product research and development.

Trying multiple methods The company tried the following methods to solve the problem:

  1. Equipment transformation: Technical transformation of the existing reactor equipment was carried out to try to improve its accuracy and efficiency, but the transformed equipment still could not meet the high-standard production requirements.
  2. External procurement: Contacted multiple equipment suppliers and tried to purchase new reactor equipment, but the equipment provided still could not fully match their needs in terms of performance and technical parameters.

These attempts failed to successfully solve the problem, resulting in low production efficiency and seriously affecting the development progress and market launch plan of new products.

Finding new solutions

Initial understanding: During market research and industry exchanges, Michael Smith, Purchasing Manager, learned that our company has leading technology and rich experience in high-efficiency reactor systems. Recommended by a friend in the industry, Michael decided to contact our company for solutions.

Initial contact: In June 2021, Michael contacted Tom Wilson, our sales manager, by phone and email, and detailed the technical challenges and needs faced by his company.

Communication and Evaluation

Online meetings: After the initial communication, we arranged several online video conferences and invited the technical team and R&D experts to participate in order to gain a deeper understanding of the specific needs and technical requirements of Houston Chemical Co., Ltd. Through these meetings, we gradually determined the direction of the solutions we could provide.

Invitation to visit the factory: In order to let customers have a more intuitive understanding of our technical strength and production capacity, we invited Michael and Sarah to visit our company for a field visit and technical exchange in July 2021.

On-site evaluation and customized solutions

Field visit: In mid-July 2021, Michael and Sarah came to our factory for a field visit. During the visit, the customer was allowed to personally view the design, manufacturing process and quality control system of the reactor equipment. Through on-site testing and operation demonstrations, the customer had a more intuitive understanding of the performance of our equipment.

Customized solution: Combining the customer's specific needs and on-site feedback, our senior technical engineer James Lee had several technical discussions with the customer team and finally designed a high-efficiency reactor system for Houston Chemical Co., Ltd. The system includes advanced temperature control, stirring system and reaction time control module to ensure that it can meet the customer's high-precision and high-efficiency production requirements.

Customer experience and decision-making
Through field visits and detailed technical exchanges, Michael and Sarah highly recognized our solutions. They were not only satisfied with the technical parameters of the equipment, but also highly praised our service and support system. In August 2021, Houston Chemical Co., Ltd. officially decided to cooperate with us and signed an order.

Project Implementation
Time: September 2021 to November 2021
After the project was signed, we immediately started the production and testing of the equipment. Throughout the process, we maintained close communication with customers to ensure the production progress and quality of the equipment. After the production was completed, we sent a professional installation and commissioning team to Houston to complete the installation and commissioning of the equipment, and conducted detailed operation training for the customer's technical staff.

Project Results
Time: December 2021
After the new reactor equipment was officially put into use, Houston Chemical Co., Ltd.'s production efficiency was significantly improved, and the product quality also met the expected standards. The efficient operation of the new equipment helped the company speed up the research and development of new products and successfully realized the market launch plan. Sarah Johnson was very satisfied with our equipment and services, and said at an internal company meeting: "This cooperation not only solved the technical problems in our production, but also improved our overall production efficiency. Thank you very much for your support."

Conclusion

Through this cooperation, we not only helped Houston Chemical Co., Ltd. solve the problem of reactor equipment, but also further proved our technical advantages and service capabilities in the field of high-efficiency reactor systems. This successful case will inspire us to continue to improve our technical level, provide better products and services, and meet the changing needs of customers. In the future, we look forward to establishing long-term cooperative relationships with more customers and jointly promoting the development and progress of the industry.
